The Burnbrae vineyard is not only known for its exceptional wines. On one side of the Cellar Door, beyond the garden and stately Pepper Tree, lies the Winemaker’s Cottage.
A reminder of a bygone era, this charming two bedroom cottage has a fireplace, verandah and is self contained so you can immerse yourself and soak up the tranquility for a few days or a few weeks. The cottage is a popular romantic getaway, also popular for those who choose to bring their friends for a weekend of indulgence in the Mudgee region sampling our fine food and wines.
The cottage has recently been featured in OUTthere magazine, in Windsor Dobbin’s “Best of the Best” and without doubt is a must stay for those seeking vineyard experience.
The winemaker’s cottage is available all year round. The cottage has retained its original natural charm although undergone some renovations. There is a comfortable lounge room with a cosy open fireplace for those cold winter nights. A large kitchen to cook that beautiful country meal you have been waiting for. One bathroom.
